Psychotherapy for Women in Brisbane and Online
MHealing is a psychotherapy practice in Brisbane offering in-person sessions in Wynnum and online therapy across Australia. I support women navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges and life transitions - helping them reconnect with their inner world and rediscover their wholeness. Here, healing unfolds gently through self-awareness, meaning and compassion.
A Space for Women to Heal, Feel, and Blossom.
The word psychotherapy comes from the Ancient Greek psyche - meaning “soul” and therapeia - meaning “healing.” Literally, it translates to healing of the soul.
Its modern meaning refers to the treatment of mental and emotional distress. To me, psychotherapy is more than a treatment — it is a homecoming.
It is the place where you find your way back to yourself when life feels heavy or uncertain. A space that helps you weather the storms, make sense of your inner world, and stay connected to your truth - so that, no matter how far you wander, you never forget your way home.
Just as you might go to the gym to strengthen your body, therapy is a space to strengthen your mind. It helps you stay grounded, self-aware, and aligned - keeping your thoughts, emotions, and sense of self in balance.

What is Psychotherapy
What is MHealing
MHealing — read as “am healing” — represents the transformative journey that psychotherapy can be. I don’t claim any healing or spiritual powers - MHealing is not about me; it’s about YOU. The name reflects your journey, your unfolding, and your healing.
People come to MHealing for many different reasons — to find relief, clarity, or simply to feel more connected to themselves and others. Some of the areas I commonly work with include:
Anxiety and overthinking
Work-related stress and burnout
Depression and low mood
Trauma and emotional pain
Self-confidence and self-esteem
Relationship and communication issues
Identity, intimacy, and sexuality
Whatever brings you here, you are welcome — just as you are, and exactly where you need to be.

Anxiety is often seen as something to fight or fix. But what if anxiety is not the enemy? In this first part of the Demystifying Anxiety series, I explore a more compassionate way of understanding anxiety - not as something broken, but as a natural response that carries meaning. More articles in this series to come.
